About Phillipa Warden

I am a Royal College of Art trained artist. I studied a Masters in knitwear design and went on to work for many well known designers including Nicole Farhi. Textures found within nature have always influenced my work and are the inspiration behind my large scale oil paintings. Seascapes and flowers are my favourite subjects. There is nothing I like more than being jostled around in the crashing waves in Aldeburgh then trying to capture that feeling in a sketch or a painting. The floral oils are inspired by the gorgeous mix of cosmos, dahlias and hydrangeas that we grow on our allotment here in rural Cambridgeshire. I’m very happy to complete commissions and have painted portraits, clients’ homes and holiday memories. I have illustrated for national newspapers, magazines and children’s books and am waiting to hear from you! If you see something you like please do contact me.
